
The Transition Tri Team is the only youth and junior triathlon program on the Chicago North Shore. Our main goal is to foster a team environment where athletes can enjoy themselves while learning, training, and competing in the exciting and challenging sport of triathlon.
While triathlon involves three disciplines, our group sessions concentrate on running and biking. Private swimming lessons are available as an additional option.
Our training sessions are tailored for athletes aged 7 to 15 years old.
Sessions take place in and around the Glenview/Northbrook area, with further details provided once the program is confirmed.
To join Transition Tri Team, athletes must have their own bike (preferably with gears) and be comfortable riding safely in a group setting. Helmets are required for all participants.
This year, there are three key training sessions in May, July, and August. You can sign up for one or two sessions per week, with training held on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Training will take place on these dates, with options to attend once or twice a week.
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Each session includes a warm-up, bike and run skills and drills, a weekly focus on endurance, strength, and/or speed, followed by a cool-down and stretching.

Payment is due before the first session. You can pay via Zelle (preferred) or Venmo @AnneCaudill or 7735108339 (see below for online payment options), cash, or check payable to Transition Triathlon Team.
There is no sign-up form, but a waiver is required. Please email me at caudill.anne@gmail.com or through the website to express interest. I will send a confirmation email with details about the upcoming session and the waiver.

I offer private training sessions for kids focused on swimming and swimming technique, as well as individualized running analysis and bike sessions. Additionally, I provide one-on-one training for athletes looking to improve their transitions. For first-time triathletes, I also offer race preparation walk-throughs.

Anne Caudill has been coaching both kids and adults for the past 19 years. She is a Certified Level 1 USAT Coach, specializing in Youth & Junior and Short Course triathlons.

Most recently, she competed at the Age Group Triathlon Championships in Australia, where she placed 13th in the world in her age group. Anne has also qualified for the World Triathlon Championships in Spain this year, though she has yet to decide whether to compete.
